Dr. Anna Davies, MD, CCFP
Anna was born in Vancouver, but spent most of her childhood in Newfoundland and Ontario. She completed an undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University, followed by her medical degree at Memorial University. She made the 6000km road trip to Kelowna, BC and completed a Family Medicine residency in 2013. After spending a wonderful 6 months in Whitehorse in 2015 as a locum, she was delighted to join Crocus Maternity and Klondyke Medical Clinic as a full-time physician. Outside of work, she enjoys playing outside with mountain bikes and skis. |
Dr. Justine Fair, MD, CCFP
Dr. Fair will be transitioning to providing locum services for Crocus as of May 18,2021. Justine is used to long winters having grown up in Fort McMurray, Alberta. She completed her medical school at the University of Calgary and then her family medicine training at Dalhousie University in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, before returning to Calgary to complete an extra year's training in global medicine and women's health. She enjoys trying to grow tomatoes in the Yukon, and is learning to mountain bike. |
Dr. Elizabeth Stanford, MD, CCFP
Liz grew up in Ontario where she completed her medical school studies at McMaster University. A love for the mountains guided her west to do her family medicine residency in the UBC rural program. She enjoys working as a rural GP, and has an interest in Women's Health. When she's not working, she enjoys skiing, cycling, hiking, running and exploring the great outdoors. Dr. Stephanie Matchett, MD, CCFP Stephanie was born and raised in the Yukon, living in both Dawson City and Whitehorse. She completed medical school at UBC and did her family medicine residency at Dalhousie University. She practiced family medicine and obstetrics in Halifax for four years before the north called her home in 2018. When she's not working, she enjoys running, cooking and exploring the Yukon wilderness. |
